This week is get to know your teacher time? As teachers we get to know a lot about
our students, their families, their hobbies, likes/dislikes etc.

How well do you know your teacher?

This may require a bit of work. You may need to ask your teacher some of these
questions to find out.



1. What schools did your teacher go to when they were growing up?

2. What is your favourite thing about your teacher and why is that important
to you?
My favourite thing about my teacher is that he dase nice things for us like...
He takes as out, we do sports, watch movies and much more. The reason that is important to me
is becasue he is making us have trust and faith in him.



3. What does your teacher enjoy doing when they are away from school?
Going to the beach or spending time with family.


4. What made them want to be a teacher?
beacuse he did.


5. What is it about your school that your teacher likes the most?
All the frindly students and kind teachers.


6. Why are you his/her favourite students?
Beacuse i keep my work to a high starder and we have some laughs.


7. If your teacher could do another job what would it be and why?
Own his own bussine so he could be his own boss


8. What do you think your teacher would be great at if they were not a teacher?
Baskt Ball player.



9. Why do you think it is important that you get to know your teacher?
To no to trust him/her.


10. If you were your teacher what would you do differently to make your
classroom better?
We would have a vote on what sport we would play.

Q1. How are you going to be more awesome in your learning

this year?
I will focus and think about who i'm going to sit with.
Q2. What is one thing you will do to make this year great?
Im going to try new things, like sigh up for net ball.
Q3. What are you looking forward to most this year and why?
getting to do more things as a year 8.

I'ts very quite and i sit at the learners table.

How are you going to achieve them?
I need to work on getting my work done faster. My goals are trying my hard'st and having a go at it. I achieve by focus and be quite to help others learn.

What are the things that block your learning?
I think how happy my mum and dad would be to see my reports and whenn i
block i don't think about it at all.

Q1: What is your favourite subject at school and why?
My favourite subject at school is Mahi Time, because it has new challenges for me every time.
Q2: Do you have any pets? What are they and what are their names? If you don't have a pet what pet would you have if you did?
I have two dogs, Buddy is a boy and Skye is a girl they are both still puppies.
Q3: What are some of your favourite foods?
i really like Barito's and i love roast.
Q4: What is your favourite sport? What do you like about it?
I really like soccer and rugby because they both give you a good exercise.
Q5: What is your favourite hobby?
I really like to sing, sometimes when i am alone i sing my heart out.
Q6: Who do you live with?
I live with my Mum, Dad, annoying brother and two younger sisters.
Q7: What is your ethnicity
I am cook island and New Zealand European.
Q8: The Census video talks about finding out if there are enough parks. Do you have a park in your suburb? Do you think your suburb needs a park or a better park? What would make it better?

Q9: Why do you think the government does a Census every 5 years?
They might be keeping up to date with all the people in New Zealand.

blogger week six.

1) Do you think that technology will be a big part of our lives in the future? Why,
Yes, i do think that it will be a big part of are lives. I know there just movies, but in most movies the future has lots of tech. So yes.

2) Will technology disappear? yes, no, why?
It depends on the future, if we get rid of it or if we keep it.
3) How do you use technology already in your life?
well some people use phones to talk to other people. I use my chrome book to do my home work and all my writing, it fix's all my spelling mistakes.

4) Research what the first digital device that was made it and when it was built?
Martin Campbell-Kelly’s the history of machine computation from Charles Babbage, the 18th century British mathematician, through the 20th century.

5) What do you think about technology at Casebrook is like? And how could we make it better? chrome books are really handy to do your work. Maybe we could have more chrome books.

6) How do you think technology will change and what will be something you think will be created. EG: holograms, hovering cars.
At my old school my friend told me in the future we could get one of are arms robotic so we could text on are arm or take selfs.
7) What are some of the positive effects of technology?
Well when your upset some of your emotion go into the videos, like when im sad i watch funny dog videos.

8) What are some of the negative effects of technology?
it can change your mode da-pen-ding how long you have been on a Technology.

blogger week 4



  1. What skills or qualities does a person need to have to be a Leader of a Country? Do you have these skills? Are leader needs to always have a new plan. Like if all the school's shut down he/she has a plan, and no i don't have the skills. 
  2. How does the Government of New Zealand affect you? If he/she fines as to much money for nothing.
  3. If you wanted to change something at your School, what would it be? I would change the girls skirt, (A) to hard to jump in, (B)  really uncomforable to wear. 
  4. How would you go about making that change? Could you lead that change and what skills would you need? Why do we celebrate fireworks, my grand perants have a big problem with them. every time there is fireworks it cames on the new's,"child gets bernt from fireworks". I could lead change but it might start into a big revalotion.
  5. What problems do you think New Zealand children are facing? Why are they having these problems?some family's don't have lots of money to buy food or even a nice warm bed, so I think all children should be living a loving life. They should all have good schools, lots of food and water and a family
  6. How could we help the children who are having these problems? I think to help we could have a fundraising and all the money go'se to the kids that do't have homes.
  7. Does your School do anything to help your local community? (Fundraising etc) We have a couple of fundraising in are school, some of them you can bring a dollar for mufti day.
  8. What is more important - helping yourself or helping others? i think helping others is a nice thing to do and its showing REP.

                1. How do you celebrate Maori Language Week in your class/school? We celebrate New Zealand Maori week by at the start of school Mr foster has a Maori word, we then try and guess the meaning of the word.
                2. Why is this an important week to New Zealand? This week is important because Maori was the first to stand on this land.
                3. How does New Zealand celebrate Maori Language Week? New Zealand celebrate Maori Language Week by speaking Maori.
                4. Can you name any local places of significance that have a Maori name?Why are they significant?

                6. What is your favourite Maori phrase or a saying you have heard this week? My favourite Maori phrase is Kia ora tātou - Hello everyone.
                7. What other languages are a part of your school and are these celebrated?there is sigh language week, my sister is deaf so every Wednesday to learn sighing.
                8. What are the three official languages of New Zealand? there is sigh language, English and Maori week.
                9. If New Zealand was to officially celebrate another language what language do you think that should be? Why? koren, there are alot of Koren's in New zealand. and i think it would it would be nice.

                Q1: What is an election? What type of election do we have in New Zealand?
                an election is when you have to vote on what party you want to win. we have a party vote, e.g labour party.

                Q:2 Why do we have elections in New Zealand?
                to see who's are next prime minister.

                Q3: What happens during an election?
                we vote for a party, and the most votes, win.

                Q4: What do you think would happen if we did not have elections and people did not vote?
                then there would be lots of rule braking.

                Q5: Who is the Prime Minister of New Zealand? How did he become the prime minister?
                bill English is are Prime Minister because he had the most votes.

                Q6: Why do you think it is important that people vote in elections?
                so we can a Prime Minister to rule New Zealand.

                Q7: If you became Prime Minister what is the first thing you would change?
                i would stop animal abuse and child abuse.

                stop polition and homeless should all get a house.
